Josh Newton

Coaching Experience

Josh’s coaching career began in Guelph, Ontario where he coached a city championship team. As a player, he won 5 district titles, 4 regional titles and one provincial title while in high school and was MVP of District 10 twice, MVP of the Kitchener-Waterloo Ontario Secondary Schools Association (KWOSSA) zone championships in his senior year and team captain in his senior years. In addition, Josh was also captain of his 16, 17, and 18U club teams. After high school, Josh played a year at the perennial powerhouse University of Alberta Golden Bears program.
