Raymond Chow Becomes First Apex Member to Make Team BC
It is with great amounts of pride that we announce Raymond Chow’s inclusion on this year’s U17 Team BC squad that will be competing at the Western Elites, July 23-26 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
Raymond first started playing competitive club volleyball just last year as a U16 member of the Apex Aces. Originally a middle blocker, Raymond’s true desire was to play on the wing and under the tutelage of Chris Singh, his high school coach at Windermere Secondary, and Ken Li, his U17 club coach, Raymond was able to achieve his goal, playing the P1 position on both teams. His passing this past year has improved dramatically, and his coaches at the Baden Cup camp in Kelowna have taken notice of his solid passing game, to go with his already strong attacking skills. Rarely will you ever find Raymond not at an open gym or missing practice. His strong desire to improve his skills has undoubtedly pushed him to the level of play that he performs at today.
Raymond will stay in Kelowna to train with the team for the next 3 weeks until Western Elites. Congratulations, Raymond! Do us proud!

The picture would look better if you cropped the thing in the corner out.
